Super Swimmer
Ages 10 years - 13 years
The Super Swimmer Program supports older swimmers as they strengthen technique, endurance, and water awareness in a structured and respectful learning environment. Designed for swimmers aged 10 to 13, this program builds on foundational skills while recognizing the maturity, attention span, and physical ability of older kids.
Whether a swimmer is joining us for the first time or progressing from our Big Swimmer program, Super Swimmer provides a clear and supportive path forward. Instruction emphasizes confidence, control, and consistency while continuing to reinforce safety and personal responsibility in and around the water.
As swimmers move through the levels, they develop stronger strokes, longer endurance, and a deeper understanding of how to move efficiently and safely in the water. When swimmers age out of the program or complete Super Swimmer, the natural next step is transitioning to larger pools where they can continue building endurance and distance.
This program continues their journey toward learning to love the water in a capable, confident way.

Super Swimmer Level 1
Small group swim lessons for ages 10–13 | Max 3 swimmers per instructor
Super Swimmer Level 1 is designed for swimmers who are new to structured lessons or who need time to build confidence and solidify foundational skills.
This level is taught with a 3 to 1 swimmer to instructor ratio in a full lane, allowing instructors to focus on fundamentals without the pressure of extended distances. Swimmers work on relaxed breathing, submersion, floating, rollover floats, gliding, early front and back swimming movements, and basic treading skills.
Instruction meets swimmers where they are, using age appropriate guidance that respects maturity while building skills from the ground up. The focus is on comfort, control, and feeling capable in the water.
Enrollment & Registration
All programs at The Swim Space run on a monthly membership model based on four lessons per month.
Registration for new swimmers opens on the 20th of each month for the upcoming month.During the first 19 days of each month, current swimmers are given priority to transfer classes due to schedule changes or level progression. Because of this, requested class times cannot be guaranteed, even if they appear available. No payment is processed unless a space is confirmed.
Progress Check-Ins
Every 7–9 weeks, swimmers receive a progress check-in with one of our coaches or supervisors alongside their instructor. These check-ins look at overall skill development, confidence, and readiness to move to the next level—or what to focus on next.To ensure progress check-ins are meaningful and fair, swimmers must have attended at least 6 of the previous 9 classes and must not have missed their two most recent classes. This helps our team make accurate, consistent recommendations based on current participation and performance.
Progress check-ins are designed to support steady growth, clear communication, and a positive experience as swimmers continue their journey toward learning to love the water.
Safety First
Our small-group format allows instructors to provide focused attention and maintain a safe learning environment. If a swimmer requires one-on-one support beyond what’s possible in a group class, we may not be able to accommodate them at this time.If you have questions about safety or class fit, our team is happy to help at learn@theswimspace.com.
