Make-Up Policy:
Each swimmer can receive one make-up token per month for a regularly scheduled class that they will not be attending, provided we are notified of the absence before the class starts.
Absence notifications must be submitted through the App or Parent Portal (we do not accept phone calls, emails, or in-person notifications).
If your absence is eligible for a token, our system will add the make-up token to your account by 11:59PM on the day of the missed class, and will send you an email.
Make-up classes must be booked through the App or Parent Portal.
Make-up classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Same-day make-up class bookings are also accepted (up to 4 hours before the class starts).
Make-up classes cannot be booked before an expected absence.
All make-up class bookings are final, once booked, make-up classes cannot be rescheduled or tokens reissued.
Make-up tokens are valid for 45 days from the date they are issued, provided the swimmer’s membership is active and in good standing.
Make-up tokens expire when a membership ends, and any unused make-up tokens will be forfeited. Make-up tokens are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
If the option to request a make-up token is not used one month, it does not accumulate or roll over to the next month.
If a class is cancelled by The Swim Space (ie: instructor illness, weather) we’ll add a make-up token to your swimmer’s account. This does not prevent you from receiving your one absence-related token that month.
