Tiny Swimmer
3 months - 48 months (4 years)
The Tiny Swimmer Program is where a lifelong relationship with the water begins. Designed for infants and toddlers, this program supports swimmers through a thoughtful progression from parent supported water exploration to independent instructor led swimming skills.
The program is made up of four progressive levels for swimmers aged 3 months to 48 months ( 4 years ). Early levels include a parent or guardian in the water to support comfort and connection, while later levels transition swimmers into small group instructor led classes without parent participation.
Age ranges overlap intentionally to allow swimmers to move forward based on comfort, confidence, and readiness rather than age alone.
Each level builds confidence, comfort, and foundational safety skills in a calm, predictable environment. Our focus is not rushing milestones or forcing independence. It is helping young swimmers feel safe, capable, and excited in the water step by step so learning to swim feels natural, not scary.
This is the start of their journey toward learning to love the water.

Class Length: 30 Minutes
Tiny Swimmer
Group swim lessons for Ages 3 to 30 months | Parent or Guardian Participation| Max 12 per class
Tiny Swimmer Level 1 introduces swimmers to the water with a parent or guardian in the pool alongside them. Classes focus on comfort, connection, and positive early water experiences through gentle movement, songs, and playful activities.
At this stage, swimmers begin developing familiarity with the water while caregivers learn how to safely support and move their child in an aquatic environment. The emphasis is on trust, bonding, and helping swimmers feel calm and secure.
This level lays the foundation for confidence in the water and the very first steps toward learning to love the water.

Enrollment & Registration
All programs at The Swim Space run on a monthly membership model based on four (4) lessons per month.
Registration for new swimmers opens on the 20th of each month for the upcoming month.During the first 19 days of each month, current swimmers are given priority to transfer classes due to schedule changes or level progression. Because of this, requested class times cannot be guaranteed, even if they appear available. No payment is processed unless a space is confirmed.
Safety First
Our small-group format allows instructors to provide focused attention and maintain a safe learning environment. If a swimmer requires one-on-one support beyond what’s possible in a group class, we may not be able to accommodate them at this time.If you have questions about safety or class fit, our team is happy to help at learn@theswimspace.com.

Class Length: 30 Minutes
Tiny Swimmer 2
Group swim lessons for Ages 24 to 48 months | Parent or Guardian Participation| Max 12 per class
Tiny Swimmer Level 2 is designed for older toddlers who are new to swimming or who still benefit from parent or guardian support in the water. While maintaining a supportive environment, this level begins to introduce more instructor led structure.
Swimmers practice listening, following simple directions, and participating in guided activities while still having a trusted adult close by. Basic dock safety and early independence skills are introduced to help prepare swimmers for future classes without a parent in the pool.
This level bridges the gap between supported water play and independent swimming lessons.

Progress Check-Ins
Every 7–9 weeks, swimmers receive a progress check-in with one of our coaches or supervisors alongside their instructor. These check-ins look at overall skill development, confidence, and readiness to move to the next level—or what to focus on next.To ensure progress check-ins are meaningful and fair, swimmers must have attended at least 6 of the previous 9 classes and must not have missed their two most recent classes. This helps our team make accurate, consistent recommendations based on current participation and performance.
Progress check-ins are designed to support steady growth, clear communication, and a positive experience as swimmers continue their journey toward learning to love the water.
